KINSMEN COUNTRY VILLAGE
This complex consists of twelve two-storey residential buildings and one single-storey amenity unit building. All thirteen buildings were built in 1991 with light wood-frame construction over crawlspaces, totalling forty-two dwelling units. Pham Structural Engineering was retained to provide structural condition assessment, seismic risk study and structural consultation for voluntary structural upgrades to address typical deficiencies such as lack of lateral force resisting elements, soft-story condition and unbraced cripple walls at the crawlspaces.
